STEEL FURRING CHANNEL
The furring channel, with its distinctive hat shape, is a corrosion-resistant element utilized in construction to extend or 'furr out' masonry walls and ceiling structures. In the context of wall installations, this channel is affixed vertically to the wall using concrete nails or mechanically-driven fasteners. Subsequently, gypsum panels are secured onto these furring channels with screws.
